Austin consistently comes in at the top of the list for most pet-friendly cities in America, ranking number one in two categories, dog-friendly restaurants per capita and percentage of pet-friendly hotels.

Austin could also legit be number one for dog-friendly events, with these five amazing opportunities to enjoy blues, baseball and beer with Bowzer!

BLUES ON THE GREEN Blues on the Green (pictured above) is Austin’s favorite summer tradition! Be a part of the annual FREE concert series and join ACL Radio at Zilker Park to catch performances from your favorite artists. Grab your blankets, sunscreen and four-legged friends for an evening of music and fun, presented by H-E-B to benefit the Austin Parks Foundation!

QUEER HIKING AT THE GREENBELT All LGBTQIA are welcome, all ages, as well as dog friendly dogs. Hikers can meet at the entrance off of MoPac and 360. Please keep dogs on leash until we enter the greenbelt for safety reasons, afterwards at your discretion for off-leash. The monthly event is free, but a RSVP is needed.

PUPTOPIA FESTIVAL Puptopia Festival is a one-day amazement park for dogs and their parents, encompassing everything that makes dogs happy and makes owners happy to have a dog! Described as a “Disney World for Dogs,” Puptopia Festival is your opportunity to spend a single day indulging your pup’s fantasies all in one place, from interactive activities, memory-making photo ops, educational programming and live entertainment!

ROUND ROCK EXPRESS: PINTS & PUPS Fans are invited to bring their furry friends to Dell Diamond every Thursday for Pints & Pups, while also enjoying discounted domestic draft and canned beers. Dogs are welcome with their owners in the air-conditioned Bullpen Bar along the concourse in center field and the outfield lawn area.

PAWS ON 4TH: PUP NIGHT Join fellow dog lovers every fourth Saturday of the month for Paws on 4th: Pup Night at Oilcan Harry’s! There will be drink specials, no cover and a puppy play area!
